Hurricanes

I am confident the storm Wilma is going to turn right and go to Fla. I am soory for them and happy for me. It has been a tough season.
I am going to watch Bama beat Tenn. this weekend. Nothing sucks like a big orange.
We are going to stay up there and party a little.

Saints do it again.

3 turnovers and then a bad call. It is their way. They drive me crazy. At least Bama won.

baseball

This week has been a great one for baseball. I am watching the Sox right now. they seem better than the angels. I also think Houston will beat the Cardinals.
I am getting ready for football tomorrow. The Tide is going to Oxford to play Ole Miss. Big game. Bama needs to put them away quickly.
I am impressed by Bar Man's adventures in Spain. I would like tothink I could do as well in New Zealand next week.

Weddings

My cousin got married. We were told we would not be invited. "Nothing we can do" said my Aunt. The bride controlled the invitations. Lo and behold, we got invited. This was in Washington, while we live in Alabama. Too late to go, and we were told they were registered at Neiman Marcus. I know where I stand.

Braves & Saints

My two favorite pro teams went down on the same day. At least the Braves did not quit. They just got beat. I now want the Astros and the sox to win. My concentration can now return to college football and alabama.
I have been on call all weekend. It is grueling, but no more weekends for a few months!

Mondays

I missed a good party last night, not on purpose. I was overworked today.
I did get to talk to Mike Shula today. It has been a good day for him.
A local doctor killed himself yesterday. A big topic of conversation in the doctor's lounge.

florida

Florida came to Tuscaloosa and got beat decisvely. The crowd was raucous and enjoyed the spectacle. We did loose our playmaker, Tyrone prothro. He had a terrible injury to his leg. He is seen lying in pain after the injury.

I also got to go out to dinner with both of my daughters, my son and his girlfriend. Despite the injury to Prothro, a very good weekend at 'Bama.

The Saints won and looked good. They just continue to string us out.
